Hello there and happy new year!
I only make posts for important releases, so you might have missed some of the smaller bits of content from this month – so here they are, in one short, easy-to-digest post!
Now, December is a pretty slow month, where I focused mainly on projects behind the scenes which should get released in the upcoming weeks and months. But it doesn’t mean I don’t have cool stuff to share with you!
1 – Website overhaul
If you’ve visited the website recently, you might have noticed things have changed around here. I’ve gotten a bit of help and made this website a lot better at doing what it’s supposed to do: cataloguing what I publish, and making it easy for you to access.
So take a look around, see if there’s anything interesting you might have missed!

2 – Maps, maps, maps!
At the start of last month, my website catalogued about 10 battlemaps I had made. It now catalogues almost 70!
The maps are split by setting:
- Pirates: a bunch of tropical locations, ramshackle docks, and over 20 ship tokens to use with your favorite VTTs, including interiors!
- Medieval: the most varied category, where you’ll find anything from a university campus to a dungeon set inside of a giant tornado. My favorite? A desert oasis that is a lair for a pack of gnolls… Who, in their supernatural, insatiable hunger, continuously gnaw on the carcass of the once mighty Tarrasque. Get rid of your Gnoll problem, and you’ll have an entirely different problem on your hands!
- Post-Apocalyptic: maps set in a modern setting, perfect for Fallout campaigns, zombie apocalypse campaign, etc…
- Regions & cities: this category focuses on the big picture – region maps, hexcrawl maps, city maps, etc… Anything to put in front of your players while they aren’t staring at a battlemap and at their imminent doom.

3 – Magic Item – The Telewizard
Last, and probably least, this is the very first magic item I’ve ever come up with. It’s been a lot of fun roleplaying the bored line operators checking credentials and taking their sweet time while adventurers were in life-or-death situations with extreme urgency.
Mechanically, you can see this as a more versatile, but much less practical version of spell scrolls.
This certainly won’t be a good fit for all tables, but if you run a high magic setting, this is a fun way to keep it relatable.
What comes next?
If you stick around, you can expect:
- More free content, similar to what is listed above, every single week!
- Home-Field Advantage, a 200-page compendium of lair actions for over 320 existing D&D monsters! (January 2022)
- A Better Deal (working title), a heist-type small adventure for 3rd level adventurers where you sneak into a noble estate, and free a devil who is used as a contract scribe. (Q1 2022)
- Old Magics Reborn (working title), a supplement porting over 100 spells from older editions to 5e, and giving you tools to reintroduce these spells in a way that’s going to be a bit more interesting than just adding them to your PCs’ spell lists (February 2022)
- CharActor Studio, a web-based 3D character creation tool, with VTuber technology to apply a face-tracking and a hand-tracking algorithm to your D&D character (coming on Kickstarter Q1 2022)
