Atom20

Hey there! Something a bit different this week… A Chrome extension. Yep.

Atom20 allows you to use the flexible and versatile format that is a spreadsheet, as a fully-functional character sheet & bestiary which is going to work for just about any TTRPG system you could think of.

All you need to do is create a sheet named “Atom20”, configured as in the examples provided in the extension’s description, and then declare two things: attributes, and macros.

Attributes are things like hit points, armor class, etc… Variables which Roll20 tracks and then allows you to display on your token as a life bar or a big red bubble.

A macro is a piece of text which is sent to Roll20’s chat at the click of a button.

Below, you will find a video demonstration of both what the extension can be used for, and how to set it up for your own game.

The extension is currently in semi-open beta: it will only work for the first 100 people who install it. If you do end up using this extension, make sure to give me feedback about it so I can improve it in future versions!

    1. I have been trying to get in touch with roll20, to get express permission for the extension. Until I get it, I cannot afford to make the extension available, because roll20 pays my bills, and I do not wish to get on their bad side.

      1. Ahh that’s unfortunate. Could you perhaps start a poll on their forums to attract the attention of their moderators?
