Customizable Encounter Builder
A lot of Dungeon Masters will tell you that the Challenge Rating system underestimates Player Characters, and that you should avoid using it. I agree with the observation, but not the conclusion.
When a tool is slightly broken, you don’t throw it out, you fix it.
So that’s exactly what I did: I implemented the challenge rating rules in a Google Sheet, and then tweaked the numbers to fit the reality at my table.

I have helped the moderation team of this subreddit with setting up an automatically-updating spreadsheet which catalogues the top 10 most upvoted homebrews of each month, from now all the way back to the subreddit’s creation.
The idea here is, good content should have a long shelf life in my opinion, but Reddit’s filters only let users see the best posts of the month, then the best posts of the year (which are usually the same as those of the month since a subreddit grows over time), and then the best posts of all time (which are usually the same as the best of the year).
So, I took inspiration from Skyrim’s Nexus Mod Manager, and made this.
