A cleric who turns people into the best versions of themselves. Ambition in D&D often has a negative connotation: it is associated with entities such as Asmodeus, Bane or Lolth, whose ambition manifests in their way of trampling over others to get their way. However, in real life, those who promote ambition are mentors, coaches and teachers. These people know that it is possible for one to have a healthy relationship to one’s own ambitions, and they help people on the path they chose for themselves.
A buff-focused cleric. Mechanically, this subclass taps into my personal favorite thing about support characters: the fact that they give you an excuse to interact, in roleplay and in combat, with the other members of your party. While other clerics might focus on healing or smiting down foes, this subclass is exclusively focused on buffs, passive and otherwise.
A fully-integrated subclass. In this pdf, you will find all you need to make an interesting character and tell compelling stories using this subclass:
- An expansive list of potential deities for you to pick from
- Examples of quirks and goals to make your character stand out
This week, I present you the Cleric’s Ambition Domain, and you can find it here: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/370691/Cleric–Ambition-Domain
